The initial brief called for the creation of an identity for a pastry company that only delivers through online order and catering to female consumer. The goal was to develop a brand that not only delighted taste buds but also resonated with the feminine audience, offering a unique and enjoyable pastry experience.

In response to the brief, the chosen brand name, "Yumm," reflects the delightful and mouth-watering nature of the pastries. The brand incorporates a retro aesthetic, evoking a sense of nostalgia while adding a playful twist. Beyond the visual elements, Yumm employs a brand language that flirts with the consumer, enhancing the allure of their pastries and making them even more tempting. This playful and engaging language is seamlessly integrated across social media, marketing materials, and the brand's packaging.

Yumm's visual identity is crafted to resonate with its target demographic of women. The brand embraces a colour palette dominated by pinks and reds, symbolising romance yet boldness, it also create a visually inviting and warm ambiance.

 

The logo, at the core of Yumm's visual identity, is designed to evoke the charm of an old-fashioned candy store. Featuring whimsical swirls and a heart, reminiscent of a bygone era, the logo communicates the brand's commitment to delivering delightful pastries and reinforces playful and romantic undertones. Serving as a visual signature, the logo is instantly recognizable and instills a sense of joy and anticipation for the delectable treats that Yumm promises to deliver.
